7-Eleven has announced the return of its annual “Bring Your Own Cup Day,” which will take place on September 13 at participating locations. The event allows customers to fill a container of their choice with any Slurpee flavor for $1.99.

The company encourages participants to use creative containers, stating, “Customers are invited to bring their fishbowls, flower vases, pitchers, popcorn buckets and other fun container to fill up with any flavor of Slurpee drink.” However, there are guidelines: the cup must be clean, watertight, leak-proof, and able to stand upright inside a 10-inch cutout provided in stores. Only Slurpees can be dispensed into these cups.

This year’s event features two new flavors: Powerade Xtra Sour Grape Shocker Slurpee and Nerds Strawberry Slurpee. In addition to 7-Eleven stores, Speedway and Stripes locations will also participate.

Randy Quinn, Senior Vice President of Vault & Proprietary Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc., said in the release: “Raid your cabinets for the craziest cup you own and get ready to fill it with fun, refreshing flavors.”
