IAM Union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The contract was negotiated by IAM District 142 and received strong support from union members.
The agreement includes wage increases for all job classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay back to the expiration of the previous contract, and premium increases. Other provisions cover sick time buyback, improvements in vacation accrual, updates to surveillance policies, progressive discipline procedures, and shift scheduling language.
Richie Johnsen, IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President, stated: “This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB. This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”
IAM District 142 will work with company leadership to make sure the terms are implemented promptly.
