A property in Pacific Palisades, California, once owned by Sam Simon, co-creator of “The Simpsons,” is now on the market for $16.5 million. The estate features five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Simon purchased the home in 2004 and lived there until his death in 2015.

According to the listing on Compass, “Hidden behind walls of mature landscaping sits an elegant, completely private, comfortable modern house. Combining innovative, timeless design and architecture the house is constructed with the finest craftsmanship and quality available, providing the utmost upscale habitability while successfully relating to nature and the park-like grounds dotted with mature trees and landscaping.”

The property is located near other notable homes such as the Bailey House, which was also previously owned by Simon. In addition to his work on “The Simpsons,” Simon contributed to television as a producer and writer for shows like “The Tracey Ullman Show” and “Cheers.” Frank Langen holds the listing.
