A former mixed martial arts fighter has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after being convicted of raping three unhoused women in Oregon. Zachary Lee Andrews, 33, was accused of attacking the women in their tents between 2021 and 2022, according to a news release from the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors said that in October 2021, Andrews, also known as “Cadillac,” strangled and raped a woman in her tent. The victim told officers she struggled to breathe during the assault, and authorities observed scratches and cuts on her neck.

In March 2022, Andrews raped another woman in her tent while punching and strangling her. He later confessed but claimed to officers that “she liked ‘force play,’” officials stated.

A third attack occurred in October 2022 when Andrews raped another woman in her tent and held her against her will for 12 hours. During this incident, the victim screamed “no” and “help,” but Andrews told police she had a “force fantasy” and wanted to be choked.

Andrews was convicted on 16 charges including rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, strangulation, kidnapping, unlawful penetration, and assault.

“Originally, for some reason, I had felt I wasn’t guilty of the crime, the more I thought about it, the more I realized I’m very much wrong,” Andrews said during his sentencing, according to KGW8.

He received a sentence of 50 years in prison.
