The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is inviting locals and districts to honor fallen members by purchasing personalized bricks for the IAM Workers Memorial. The memorial, located at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland, serves as a tribute to workers who have died due to workplace incidents or work-related causes.

Orders for personalized bricks must be submitted by Sunday, March 1, 2026. There are several options available: a $100 brick with three lines of text (up to 20 characters per line), a $125 brick with three lines of text (up to 15 characters per line) that includes the IAM logo, and an 8×8 brick for $200 which allows for either six lines of text without a logo or five lines with a logo. Supporters can also purchase a commemorative tile for $10.

For locals that have lost a member due to work-related incidents, the IAM will provide a complimentary brick in their honor upon submission of the completed order form.

The IAM Workers’ Memorial was completed in 2001 and features bricks bearing the names of fallen members as well as contributions from lodges and individual members. Each year, the organization holds a ceremony at the memorial to remember those lost and reaffirm its commitment to workplace safety. The date for this year’s event has not yet been announced.

To see more details about pricing or place an order, interested parties are encouraged to use the provided forms on the IAM website.
