Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, effective September 1, 2025. The appointment was made by IAM Union International President Brian Bryant and places Geilker under the leadership of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker’s background includes leading several organizing campaigns since joining IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. She helped bring new members into The Pharmacy Guild/IAM from among pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at major companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy.

Prior to her role with IAM Healthcare, which began in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer for the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she led a team representing workers across various sectors including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
