For the second year in a row, Jason Moss, CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA), has been recognized by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of the state’s Top 500 Most Influential Leaders. The annual list highlights individuals who play a significant role in shaping Georgia’s economy.
“I am both humbled and honored to receive this distinction for the second straight year,” said Moss. “Since 2008, we have been helping support Georgia manufacturers by providing events in which leaders build relationships, develop their networks, and learn best practices.” He added, “Manufacturing is a powerful force that helps drive Georgia’s economy, with more than thirty-five billion dollars in manufactured goods exported last year. These companies also employ about four hundred thousand people statewide. I am passionate about growing this sector in our great state.”
Moss noted that Georgia offers an attractive environment for manufacturers due to its skilled workforce, pro-business government policies, and strong logistics infrastructure including highways, ports, and airports.
“Since 2008, we have been helping support Georgia manufacturers by providing events in which leaders build relationships and develop their networks, while learning best practices from others Members celebrated GMA’s 15th year anniversary in 2022. in the community. We’ve found it is more productive to focus on building a diverse community of people that enjoys investing in personal and professional growth.”
According to Moss, competition among states to attract manufacturing companies remains intense. He emphasized the importance of focused efforts not only to bring new businesses into Georgia but also to strengthen leadership within existing companies through education and networking opportunities offered by GMA.
