Singer Lola Young collapsed on stage during her performance at the All Things Go festival in Forest Hills Stadium, New York, on September 27. The incident occurred after Young became emotional while expressing gratitude to her fans and discussing recent personal challenges.

According to videos shared on social media, Young appeared unsteady before dropping her microphone and falling backward. Crew members quickly assisted her and carried her off stage as the audience showed support.

Prior to collapsing, Young addressed the crowd about having a difficult few days but emphasized her commitment to perform. She told fans she did not want to “wallow in my sadness” and used the phrase, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” before thanking those in attendance.

In footage circulating online, Young can be seen mouthing that she “feels faint” just moments before losing consciousness.

Later that day, Young posted an update via Instagram stories: “Hi, For anyone who saw my set at all things go today, I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support. Lola xxx.”

On September 28, she announced through Instagram that she would not return for another scheduled performance at All Things Go in Washington D.C., stating: “I’m sorry to confirm that I won’t be playing all things go in DC today. I love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I’m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this. I hope you’ll all give me another chance in the future. Thank you to all those who listen and care. To all the people that love to be mean online, pls give me a day off. Lola.”

Young did not provide further details about the cause of her collapse.

The singer gained attention last year with her viral hit “Messy” released in 2024 and followed up with a third studio album earlier this year.
