A Macon resident won more than $450,000 in the Georgia Lottery’s Fantasy 5 drawing last week, according to a statement from the Georgia Lottery. The winning ticket was purchased through the Georgia Lottery mobile app and matched all five numbers: 01, 08, 14, 22, and 26.

Fantasy 5 tickets are available for purchase statewide at authorized retailers as well as online or via the lottery’s app. The game features jackpots starting at $125,000 with daily drawings held at 11:34 p.m.

The Georgia Lottery stated that proceeds from games such as Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, Quick Win, and Diggi Games “benefit education in the state of Georgia.” The release added: “All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 2.25 million students have received HOPE, and more than 2.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.”
