Man found safe after leaving UTV crash site to seek help near Crown King

A man involved in a UTV rollover accident in the Bradshaw Mountains near Crown King, Arizona, was reported missing after leaving the crash site to seek help, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on the night of August 27.

Authorities stated that deputies arrived at the scene and discovered that the man had left several hours earlier in an attempt to find assistance. Search and rescue teams spent the night looking for him in the remote area but were initially unsuccessful.

The following morning, deputies located the man several miles from where the vehicle crashed. According to officials, he had taken a wrong turn while searching for help and became lost. No injuries were reported as a result of the UTV accident.

Crown King is located approximately 85 miles northwest of Phoenix.
