Mercer University will host its annual Family Weekend from October 3 to 5, 2025, in Macon. The event is organized by the Office of Campus Life and is designed to bring together students and their families for a series of activities on campus.
According to Meredith Keating White, executive director of campus life and student involvement, “Family Weekend is an important tradition at Mercer, and the Office of Campus Life and Student Involvement is excited to host more than 450 families for a robust weekend of activities. There is something for all Mercer families, whether it be arts, education or athletics-focused. All Mercer families are welcome.”
Families are encouraged to register online by October 2 or in person during designated times at the Campus Life Office and Connell Student Center. The registration fee is $25 per family and covers Friday night events, Saturday breakfast, a welcome bag, tailgate activities, access to educational sessions and events, a restaurant discount card, and the option to buy Family Weekend t-shirts for $7 each.
The schedule includes several events:
– On Friday evening at Toney Auditorium, Cubstock will showcase student talent.
– Saturday’s program features a concert at Fickling Recital Hall with performances by students from the Townsend School of Music.
– A football tailgate with live music from the Ford Concert Series will take place on Black Field before Mercer faces Samford in a Southern Conference game. Tickets for the football game must be purchased separately.
