MLB Hall of Famer Greg Maddux lists San Diego coastal home for $3.7 million

A California home owned by former Major League Baseball pitcher Greg Maddux has been listed for sale in San Diego at $3.675 million. The property is located close to the Pacific Ocean and features four bedrooms and four bathrooms within 3,312 square feet.

The residence offers views of the ocean, with a location just one block from the water. Listing agent Zac Dweck of Douglas Elliman commented on the property’s appeal: “The home has exceptional ocean views, you can open your eyes and open the blinds and you’re looking right at the waves.” Dweck also highlighted another feature: “One of the best features is the massive deck upstairs perfect for entertaining or watching the sunset.”

Additional amenities include proximity to Sunset Cliffs Natural Park as well as local shopping and dining options in Point Loma. According to the listing, “With its prime location just steps from the ocean, Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, and the best shopping and dining in Point Loma, this home captures the essence of luxurious coastal living.”

Greg Maddux was inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 2014 after a career that included playing primarily for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs over 23 seasons. He was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1982. His career statistics include a .610 winning percentage and an earned run average (ERA) of 3.16.
