A 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hidden camera found in a bathroom at McKercher Park, Oregon authorities said.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the park on July 23 after receiving reports of a concealed camera in a restroom. The investigation identified Timothy Lawrence O’Brien of Eugene as a suspect.

On September 8, law enforcement searched O’Brien’s residence and discovered evidence linked to the alleged crime. O’Brien was subsequently arrested and booked into Linn County Jail on multiple charges related to invasion of personal privacy.

The sheriff’s office stated, “Officers believe O’Brien has ‘secretly filmed others with hidden video cameras, specifically juveniles’ and urge anyone with information to call 541-967-3950.”

Linn County is located approximately 110 miles southeast of Portland.
