Three Macon leaders have been included in Georgia Trend Magazine’s 2026 list of the “100 Most Influential Georgians.” The annual list highlights individuals whose leadership has contributed to companies across the state and strengthened their communities.

Macon-Bibb County Mayor Lester Miller was recognized for the third consecutive year. According to Georgia Trend Magazine, Miller has played a key role in Macon’s growth and revitalization. The publication credited him with initiatives to attract more tourists, expand affordable housing, implement criminal justice reform, and reduce property taxes for five straight years.

Tim Lowrimore, president and CEO of the Georgia Forestry Association and Georgia Forestry Foundation, appeared on the list for a second year. The magazine noted his decades of experience in the forest supply chain and cited his understanding of issues facing Georgia landowners and forest product manufacturers.

Will Bentley, president of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, was also named. The magazine acknowledged Bentley’s advocacy work for Georgia farmers, including lobbying federal officials for block grant relief after Hurricane Helene. His prior service as executive vice president of both the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association and the Georgia Beef Board was also mentioned.

Georgia Trend Magazine staff selects honorees each year from various backgrounds who share what they call a common strength of purpose: “no matter their background or area of expertise,” according to its website. The full 2026 list is available online at Georgia Trend Magazine’s website.

The magazine also recognized additional individuals serving in leadership roles throughout Middle Georgia.
