A woman from the Trenton area won a jackpot of more than $107,000 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Sunday, September 28. According to a news release from the casino, she was playing the Dollar Storm Egyptian Jewels slot machine and placed a $25 bet at 10:33 a.m. when she hit the winning combination.
After her win, she still had $832.50 in remaining credits on the machine.
Atlantic City legalized casinos in 1976 and has since developed into a resort city with various entertainment options including nightclubs and gaming establishments. The city is located about 125 miles south of New York City and attracts approximately 27 million visitors annually.
